ATTORNEY HONORS PROGRAM AT THE OAG

In 2008, the Attorney General instituted an Honors Program for young lawyers who are interested in public service in Maryland and the cutting-edge work that state Attorneys General are doing today. As a general rule, the Maryland Attorney Generals Office hires experienced attorneys who have practiced law for at least five years. The Honors Program offers younger lawyers an opportunity to begin their legal careers in our office, in positions of substantial responsibility. The first Honors Program attorneys began work in fall 2008.
