Under Maryland law, warrantors of vehicle protection products sold or offered for sale in Maryland must register with the Consumer Protection Division. These businesses must demonstrate a net worth of at least $50,000,000 or submit a copy of a Warranty Liability Reimbursement Policy. They also must submit a copy of the Vehicle Products Protection Warranty sold to consumers. The Warranty sold to consumers must include certain provisions, information, and language.
