ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE ACCEPTING COMPLAINTS FROM MEMBERS OF CLOSED EDGEWOOD FITNESS CLUB

Consumers who owned memberships in a Shapes Fitness for Women health club in Edgewood can file complaints with the Maryland Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. The health club, located at 1906 Pulaski Highway, Edgewood, closed in July without advance notice to its members.

Consumers can call the Division at 410-576-6530, or send an e-mail with name, address and telephone number to consumer@oag.state.md.us. The Division will send the consumers a letter describing how to file a complaint and how to stop automatic payments.
