ATTORNEY
GENERAL IN OCEAN CITY MONDAY TO
WARN RETIRED FEDERAL EMPLOYEES AGAINST ELDER SCAMS
Attorney
General J. Joseph Curran, Jr., announced today that he has been
invited to be the featured speaker at the Maryland Federation of
Chapters of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees
biennial convention at the Ocean City Clarion Fountainbleau Hotel,
Monday May 19 at 1:00 p.m.
The
attorney general will discuss issues of concern to seniors, such
as prescription drug prices, patient abuse, and consumer scams targeting
the elderly. Additionally, Mr. Curran will discuss his Offices
efforts to improve the quality of end of life care and to combat
financial exploitation of the elderly.
