ATTORNEY
GENERAL TO WARN SENIORS OF SCAMS
AT ROCKVILLE SENIOR CENTER TODAY
Attorney
General J. Joseph Curran, Jr., will visit with Montgomery County
seniors at the Rockville Senior Center, 1150 Carnation Drive, today
at 1:00 p.m. The Attorney General will warn seniors about scams
targeting older Marylanders, such as bogus charities, investment
fraud, and home medical equipment scams. Additionally, the Attorney
General will hand out a copy of the Offices newest publication,
A Consumer Guide to Seniors, which offers helpful information ranging
from resolving medical insurance problems to navigating pre-need
and funeral contracts.
