GENERAL CURRAN TO ADVISE SENIORS
ABOUT COMMON SCAMS TOMORROW IN COCKEYSVILLE
Attorney
General J. Joseph Curran, Jr., will meet with seniors tomorrow at
the Cockeysville Senior Center, 10535 York Road at 11 a.m., to advise
them of the many consumer scams targeted at them. From phony lotteries
to bogus work-at-home ventures, seniors will learn how to spot such
cons and to avoid becoming their next victims.
Additionally, the Attorney General will be handing out his newest
publication, A Consumer Guide for Seniors, as well as information
for contacting his Consumer Protection Division.
