CURRAN, COUNTY LEADERS JOIN TO COMBAT YOUTH ACCESS TO CIGARETTES Attorney General J. Joseph Curran, Jr. will be joined by government and public health officials from every Maryland county and Baltimore City at a press conference tomorrow to announce a joint enforcement initiative to combat the sale of tobacco products to children by Maryland retailers. The event will take place at the Grosvenor Market, 10401 Grosvenor Place, in Rockville, Montgomery County, on Tuesday, November 27 at 1 p.m. The following jurisdictions participating in the Attorney General’s initiative were invited to send a representative: Allegany, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Caroline, Carroll, Cecil, Charles, Dorchester, Frederick, Garrett, Harford, Howard, Kent, Montgomery, Prince George’s, Queen Anne’s, St. Mary’s, Somerset, Talbot, Washington, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties, and Baltimore City.
