CURRAN HOLDS YOUTH FORUM IN PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY TODAY AT 2PM
Discussion Will Include Recent Acts of Terrorism

Attorney General J. Joseph Curran, Jr., announced today that he will host the sixth event of his statewide Maryland Youth Forum at the Charles Herbert Flowers High School in Springdale, Prince George’s County, today at 2:00 p.m. The goal of the program is to help improve the response to problems faced by young people in Maryland by listening to kids talk about a range of issue such as juvenile crime, substance abuse, the Internet, and bullying in school. The Attorney General will also listen as students discuss the recent terrorist attacks in New York and at the Pentagon. The themes and ideas that evolve from these meetings will be used to formulate and underscore the need for new policy initiatives.

Attorney General Curran will be joined by school and community leaders at the discussion with students from throughout the Prince George’s County school system.
