CURRAN HOLDS YOUTH FORUM IN WORCESTER TODAY

Attorney General J. Joseph Curran, Jr., announced today that he will host the fifth event of his statewide Maryland Youth Forum at the Worcester County Board of Education today, September 24 at 1:00 p.m. The goal of the program is to help improve the response to the problems faced by young people in Maryland, by listening to kids talk about a range of issues, such as juvenile crime, substance abuse, the Internet, and bullying in school. The themes and ideas that evolve from these meetings will be used to formulate and underscore the need for new policy initiatives.

Attorney General Curran will be joined by school and community leaders at Today’s discussion with students from throughout the Worcester County school system.
