Store Owner Believed to be First Convicted for Illegal Tire Dumping in Baltimore

Baltimore - Attorney General J. Joseph Curran, Jr., Mayor Martin O’Malley, Baltimore City Department of Public Works Director George Winfield and Maryland Department of the Environment Waste Management Administration Director Richard Collins will hold a press conference on Monday, August 27 at 4500 E. Lombard Street at 11 a.m., to detail the success of the multi-agency illegal tire dumping enforcement initiative, Operation Tire Track, by announcing the first-ever conviction and sentencing of a tire store owner on illegal tire dumping charges.
