Attorney General Calls for Public Action in Response to School Shooting

Attorney General J. Joseph Curran, Jr. will be in Annapolis at Lawyer's Mall at 3 p.m. today, showing his support and urging the public's support for gun control legislation, in response to yesterday's tragedy involving two first grade students in Mt. Morris Township, Michigan. The Attorney General will be armed with ways the general public can actively get involved in preventing such a tragedy in Maryland.

The Attorney General will also be available to answer questions about Maryland law, where this tragedy is concerned.
