| Filing a Complaint about your
Insurance problem
Insurance companies and their representatives (agents or producers)
are regulated by the Maryland Insurance Administration (MIA).
All insurance companies and their agents or producers are required
to follow Maryland insurance laws. Consumers experiencing a problem
with their insurance company can file a complaint with MIA and
the matter will be investigated. At the conclusion of the investigation,
the consumer will receive a letter from MIA.
