Karma
Academy for Boys ("Karma") is a 13-bed residential
treatment facility for boys located in Rockville, Maryland.
It has been operated by KHI Services, Inc. since 1972.
Karma is licensed by the Department of Juvenile Services
(“DJS”). The building is owned by Montgomery
County.
Youth
are referred to Karma by DJS and the Department of Social
Services. All youth are interviewed prior to being accepted
to the program. On average, it takes youth between 9 and
12 months to complete their treatment program at Karma.
